It's about how you can leverage the knowledge and experience I've gained over the years to finally break through your challenges and achieve the results that you've been looking for.

How It All Started.

When I was 12 years old (I'm 17 years old in the photo), I worked at my father's nightclub, which was called "J-Love's."

It was exciting to see money being made and a welcoming place for the Black community to have fun.

To this day, my father is a businessman and a spiritual man on a mission to help the Black community heal and grow.

He taught me that it was important to start a business and serve the Black community in a helpful way.

I knew that, like him, I would be a businessman with a purpose in the future, but I didn't know what my offer would be.

Even though I was only in middle school, my dad would talk to me like an adult about his business and ask for my opinion.

In a roundabout way, he was the first person I coached.

I later got my BA in Black Studies and my MA in Clinical Psychology.

This combination helped me find my life's work.

Facing Big Challenges.

As most people do, I faced some incredible challenges along the way.

After getting my MA in psychology, I got a job in Northern California. I was happy to be working as a therapist, but I didn't like my company.

The culture was cold, there was an anti-male sentiment, the commute was horrible, the politics were intense, and they didn't see my potential as a man of color.

I tried everything to improve my situation, but nothing worked.

I listened to Tony Robbins' motivational speeches, arrived early and stayed late, helped my colleagues, kissed up to my supervisor, and took extra training, but nothing helped.

I began to hate my job and started underperforming.

This horrible experience lasted two long years and decreased my confidence, physical health, and motivation.

After getting multiple write-ups, I decided to quit before they could fire me.

Once freed of this job, I told myself that I wanted better and that I'd never let this happen again.

Building The Expertise.

During my first week on unemployment, I had a spark of inspiration.

I decided to stop playing around and identify the perfect next step for me.

I gave it some thought and realized that I needed a man of color and a therapist who was very successful to help me start my therapy business.

This is very hard to find in the world of therapy, as most clinicians are White women.

However, I asked around and was told to meet with Eugene Porter, LMFT. Eugene is a Jamaican-American therapist with a very successful practice.

The first time we met was magical, as I knew I'd found my next mentor in life.

But unlike previous mentors, Eugene knew about businesses. We talked about personal matters that impacted my career growth, but also the practical aspects of making good money in my business.

I called my business Black Executive Men and focused on helping Black men in corporate America heal from trauma and emotional wounds.

The work was incredible, and I found my greatest joy in helping brothers reach new levels of success professionally.

While I enjoyed my time as a therapist, I pivoted into coaching to make an even bigger impact on the earning potential and career fulfillment of my clients.

Today I am proud to help brothers in the corporate and business world make 7-figures in jobs and businesses they love.
